Grad Trip Day 13 - Bangkok
We spent the day preparing collaterals for the project in central Bangkok. So along the way I noticed much publicity materials associated with the floods. This banner is right outside a MRT station.
An advertisement for a photo exhibition of the floods in one of the shopping centres in the MBK area. A pity I didn't have time to visit!
Around the same area, there was this organisation selling these shirts to raise funds for flood victims. All these were just heartening sights! How post-crisis, the people still manage to come together to resolve issues, to help one another, to remember the event. It's not in the Singapore psyche to have all these efforts post-crisis I feel. The sooner we forget it, the better.
